Managing Risk in Tenders

A statement of the University’s policy on the managing of risk in purchasing and contracts is contained in the Finance and Business manual

Also contained in the Finance and Business Manual is information about managing risk in tender situations and a section that includes University Purchasing Standards, Code of Ethics and Compliance with Government Legislation.

The Australian National Audit Office has recently released a Better Practice Guide on Developing and Managing Contracts as a general reference document for staff involved in contract management.

ANU Risk Portal Goes Live

The Risk Management & Audit Office, in consultation with other key risk management areas on campus, has developed the ANU Risk Portal as a means for staff and students to access a range of risk management information and tools.  There are links within the portal that encourage the suggestion of links and general feedback on the site to allow the portal to evolve over time in response to user requirements.  The portal also contains a blog facility so that users can post comments or questions on any of the News and Events items listed.
